MEANING OF THE NAME: In local dialect “renarie” is the type of terrain where our vines grow, typical of the Val d’Aso.

HARVEST

By hand, at the end of September for the sangiovese and October for the other red berry grapes.

WINE MAKING

Our grapes are quickly taken to the winery, destalked and crushed, then put in vats to ferment. Here the skins and must ferment until all the sugars are finished.
Fermentation takes about 20 days.

 

AGING

After fermentation the skins are separated and the wine left to rest. It clarifies for 6 months in stainless steel and then put in large wooden vats to mature for 24 months.
When the aging is deemed ideal the wine is bottled and 6 months later is ready for sale.

On the nose, red fruit from red berried grapes, spices form the sangiovese and vanilla from the wood. An ethereal, determined, delicate and soft wine.

ORGANIC WINE

Primo Delia is a wonderful red wine from the Marche region.
It’s barrel aged and has an intense ruby red color, like the passion we have for our territory and the work we invest in each season, each gesture, and each and every moment.

For us this wine is not just an excellent label. 
Primo Delia represents an act of love towards our grandparents, Primo and Delia Centanni, who started with a single bunch of grapes and were able to cultivate a dream.

When Delia confessed Primo’s wish to us, she did it with the sincerity and passion typical of the people from Marche.
It was during a grape harvest many years ago when that thought became an idea, which then became a dream and then…

…And then…Today that conversation, that debate, that dream which became a reality thanks to our father Mario and our mother Franca has become a story in our history. Today we represent a new generation and a new legacy of those who taught us to love this work.

HARVEST

There are 5 different types of grapes and each has its own maturation, so they are collected at different times. Once they reach the right degree of phenolic and sugar ripeness the grapes are harvested by hand, put in crates and transported immediately to the winery to be perfectly handled.

FERMENTATION

The grapes are de-stemmed and lightly crushed. Subsequently, the crushed grapes are conveyed to the fermenters, which are small and connected together by a replacement system, to start the fermentation at a controlled temperature.

The maceration lasts for about 250 days at a temperature of 20°, after which they proceed to the storage and aging in steel.


REFINING

After 1 year of aging in steel and the end of malolactic fermentation with continuous remuage, the wine is aged for 1 year in large wooden barrel of 100 litres.

“Puro Centanni Rosso” is a bland obtained from a typical red berry grapes. The cut was studied after many tests carried out for years by Giacomo Centanni. A wine without added sulphites as per regulation, analytically lower than 10mgr / lt of So2.

Products Details

Puro Centanni Rosso is 50% Sangiovese, 30% Merlot, 20% other red berry grapes.

The blend is the result of many tests carried out over years by Giacomo Centanni.

The organic grapes are harvested perfectly intact and healthy in boxes, when perfectly ripe.

The grapes are quickly taken to the winery without being crushed and processing begins immediately with inert gases.

The grapes are ripened to the maximum, without over maturing, to concentrate the tannic components that will protect the wine.

Natural fermentation is with the skins in wooden vats. All this without adding chemical products, especially not SO2.

During fermentation, yeast produces small quantities of SO2 as a natural self-defence.

A wine without added sulphites must not exceed 10mgr/lt of SO2, by regulation.

Once fermentation is over, the wine will be stabilised by cooling and bottled.

FERMENTATION

The grapes are de-stemmed and lightly crushed. This first must is then conveyed to the small sized fermenters, which have a system to circulate the must at a controlled temperature of 20°C. The initial process (maceration) lasts about 20 days after which the wine is racked and aged in steel.


REFINING

After 6 months of aging in stainless steel with continuous turning (riddling), the wine is aged for 6 months in oak barrels. The wine is then bottled and left to rest for at least 3 months.
